Prior to the main teaching sermon, Pastor Brent Lokker shares on the topic of listening prayer and guides us through a simple exercise to illustrate how we can adopt the practice for ourselves. Afterwards, he shares of story of how Philip was obedient to the Holy Spirit's promptings and (therefore) ready to share the gospel with the Ethiopian official (Acts 8:26-40). We are encouraged to cultivate a sensitivity to God's voice and the readiness to obey that made Philip so effective in his ministry.
